CAC Music Ministry

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.

- Psalms 31:1,3

Just as the Bible exhorts, we believe in extravagant worship!

We are all made to worship. Be it through an instrument, song or dance, music is a scriptural means of expressing that worship unto God.

Music has always been an integral part of a believer’s life in the Bible. More than just making melodies for personal enjoyment, music has been used to gather an assembly (Numbers 10:1-8), sound an alarm for battle against the enemy (1 Corinthians 14:8), and herald the arrival of a king (1 Kings 1:34-41), amongst many other uses.

It is our highest privilege as music ministers to serve Jesus Christ with musical talents He gives us. However, human skill is not enough. We seek the anointing of God to minister with the songs we sing and the instruments we play.

We choose to lavish praise onto God with both our lives and our instruments. As we serve God, we desire to give Him glory and usher in His presence.
